Dr. Linda Hallman, founder of Fitbite Orthodontics, is a Washingtonian Top Doctor and Hall of Fame inductee with over 20 years of excellence. She holds a PhD in Craniofacial Growth and Development and a DDS from the University of Maryland, blending research expertise with clinical precision. Recognized as a specialist in the dental field, Dr. Hallman completed her orthodontist residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where she received her Orthodontic certificate.
Her deep understanding of facial anatomy allows her to provide comprehensive, patient-centered orthodontic care. Recognized as a leader in her field, Dr. Hallman is committed to delivering exceptional results, ensuring every patient receives personalized treatment tailored to their unique needs and overall well-being.

Beyond her private practice, Dr. Hallman is dedicated to orthodontic education and research. She founded the Orthodontics Program at Children’s National Medical Center, later transitioning it to MedStar Health, where she served as Program Director for more than 20 years. She continues in a leadership capacity for the residency, and is also Academic Director for the National Orofacial Institute, a MedStar Affiliate.
Certified in laser treatment and Invisalign, she stays at the forefront of orthodontic advancements. Committed to her community, she serves on the board of Bethesda Big Train Baseball, Baseball, Cal Ripken Summer Collegiate League, where she Chairs the Operations Committee, and was honored with the 2024 Randy Schools Big Train Outstanding Service Award for her contributions.
Personal Life
When not transforming smiles or teaching, Dr. Hallman enjoys baseball, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her husband Mike and their three sons. A passionate Washington Nationals fan, she has visited over 20 MLB stadiums. Their home is shared with two beloved dogs, Roxi and Ziggy.
